I am looking forward to this year as President of the Rotary Club of Wroxham Bure Valley. Like all Presidents before me I want the club to grow, be successful and its members enjoy being Rotarians.
There is a constant need for help in many parts of the world and here at home in Norfolk. Throughout the year we organise many events where we fund raise and give our time to support a variety of charities and other organisations.
Of special importance is that we along with all other clubs worldwide continue to support the Rotary Purple for Polio campaign to help with what will hopefully be the final push for eradication of this terrible disease. This has taken over thirty years but the end is in sight.
We currently have a membership of 33 men and women from a variety of backgrounds. If you would like to join a great group of people and get involved with charity and also have a lot of fun doing it then please come along to our meetings, you will be made most welcome. We meet at Wroxham Barns on a Monday evening (except Bank Holidays) at 7.00pm for 7.30pm and have a wide variety of topics and social events on our programme, which you can view on this website.
